USA: Seventeen Missouri State Congressmen Call for Release of Cao Junping

(Clearwisdom.net) Seventeen Missouri State Congressmen recently wrote to Jiang Yikang, Governor of Shandong Province, China to request the immediate release of Falun Gong practitioner Cao Junping. They also wrote to President Obama to call for his voice of concern to Chinese President Hu Jintao, about human rights and Falun Gong practitioner Cao Junping.Cao Junping, a Falun Gong practitioner in Weifang, Shandong Province, was illegally arrested one week before the Beijing Olympic Games. She has been detained in Qingzhou Detention Center for eight months. The local government plans to file a lawsuit against her. She has been deprived of sleep for days during her detention. Her family wasn't allowed to visit her and was interfered with when trying to find an attorney for her. Her family was threatened to pressure Cao's daughter in the U.S., Pang Jin, to stop exposing the persecution of her mother.
