Five months after he was arrested for practicing Falun Gong, he told his family members during their only visit that he had been subjected to numerous tortures. (Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Sun Meifen, a practitioner in Renqiu City, Hebei Province, benefited both physically and mentally after she started to practice Falun Gong. She has been persecuted many times because of her perseverance in Falun Gong practice. She was imprisoned many times. After being cruelly treated in the Gaoyang County Detention Center for several months, she was sentenced to forced labor for three years and taken to the Baoding City Forced Labor Camp. At about midnight on July 29, 2008, just before the Beijing Olympics, a dozen people led by Liu Jianhui and Liang Jinrong from the local Pubic Security Bureau came in three vehicles and took her away. She suffered inhuman persecution until her life was draining away.

(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner Mr. Zheng Huiwang is from Bazhou City, Hebei Province. He was arrested at his home by Bazhou City police on January 21, 2008. His family did not know what had happened to him. All they knew was that he had disappeared. At the end of March 2008, his family suddenly received a notice from the No. 1 Prison in Baoding City. That was when they discovered that Mr. Zheng had been sentenced to ten years in prison and that he was in Baoding Prison.

On January 11, 2009, at the Changgang Farm in Ezhou City she and two other young female practitioners distributed Falun Gong flyers and advised people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations to have a safe future. While they were there, a local shop owner reported them. At 1 p.m, Cheng Zhiqiang and a group of officers from the Changgang Farm Police Station took the three practitioners away.

(Clearwisdom.net) The Huanggu District Court of Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, planned to hold a "trial" of Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Wu Yufeng, Mr. Zheng Yi, Mr. Lin Huaiyu, Mr. Zhao Guoliang, Mr. Cai Zongbin, and Ms. Liu Guifeng on February 6, 2009. Before the court convened, all ten attorneys involved in the case received phone calls from the city judicial bureau and the district judicial office. The judicial authorities threatened the attorneys, telling them not to defend their clients' claims of innocence, or to challenge court decisions in the case.
