Hong Kong Yields to CCP Pressure to Remove Falun Gong Posters (Photos)

The Hong Kong government has intensified its suppression of free expression in public and in the media recently. For example, with the excuse of keeping the city neat and clean in advance of the upcoming district election, the local government have tried to remove banners and posters displayed at Falun Gong truth-clarifying sites. This has attracted wide attention in the city, and many are worried that the Hong Kong government is once again trying to please the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) by suppressing the freedoms enjoyed by Hong Kong residents. Taiwan: Falun Gong Practitioners File Criminal Charges Against Governor of Anhui Province (Photos)

On the morning of April 18, 2011, the Taiwan Falun Dafa Association filed a criminal complaint with the High Prosecutor's Office against Wang Sanyun, the governor of Anhui Province in China, prior to his arrival in Taiwan. The association accused him of committing crimes of genocide, and requested the High Prosecutor's Office to make an urgent investigation and detain Wang. According to the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG), Wang Sanyun has commanded and directly participated in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners since 2001. Wang initiated the “Hurricane-F” operation in 2002 while he was the deputy Party secretary of Sichuan Province. Over 70 UN Reports on Human Rights Expose the Ten-Year Persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Regime

Since July 20, 1999, Jiang Zemin used the state apparatus of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to brutally persecute the 100 million Chinese people who practice Falun Gong, a peaceful practice based on the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.The communist regime has all along denied torturing and even killing Falun Gong practitioners. However, their atrocities cannot be concealed forever, and the international community has become more and more concerned about such serious violations of human rights. Falun Gong Human Rights Working Group recently published "United Nations Reports on Violations against Falun Gong Practitioners & the Human Rights Situation in China (2000-2010)" in Chinese.
