How unfortunate that the South Korean government would take this route. The persecution of Falun Gong has been going on for already 10 years now and is widely recognized as being widespread in the Chinese Mainland and brutal. Therefore, knowing this, how can the Korean government have the heart to do this kind of careless thing. These are people just like you and me with families who care for them. On 7 March 2006 Mr Jiang Renzheng was deported from Germany to China, with his wife, a baby son and a toddler son. German authorities thought, because he learned Falun Gong after he had left China, he wouldn´t be persecuted if they sent him back. They were wrong. To the surprise of the German authorities, he was sentenced to labor camp one month later. 9 months later, his plea for asylum in Germany that had been rejected before, was guaranteed. Since then, the German authorities tried to bring him back. Until now, they weren´t able to. Now I see that Korea repeats the mistakes of Germany. I am shocked and sad.
